Home Safe
Home Safe works in partnership with Local Councils to identify people who are vulnerable to crime and the fear of crime to provide them with security measures in order for them to remain safe in their own home thus enhancing their quality of life.
Referral Criteria
- Victims of crime.
- Victims of domestic violence.
- People living in fear of crime living within County Durham and Darlington (dependant on localised funding).
Home Security Scheme provides a free carpentry and security service for people whose properties are at risk of burglary, vulnerable people, including victims of domestic violence or hate crime, will also be supported.
Referral Criteria:
- Victims of crime.
- Victims of domestic violence.
- People living in fear of crime Living within County Durham and Darlington (dependant on localised funding).
- Over the age of 60.
- Less than £20K savings.
