County Durham Adult Drugs Services
DISC provide an engagement and retention function to illicit drug users within the county working alongside, health, social services, NECA, probation and Addaction. The role is to bring people into treatment and then support them to access that treatment. If they start to drop out of treatment the worker will help to support them back into treatment by supporting them to address issues that make engaging with the service problematic.
Referral Criteria:
- Over 18 years
- Living in Co Durham
- Illicit drug users and drug users on substitute medication
- In need of support across a rage of identified issues
