e2e Durham
The project provides enhanced learning opportunities for young people and is holistic in its approach providing vocational, social and personal development modules. The project also provides Skills 4 Life support and ICT in order to help young people overcome the barriers preventing them from progressing and prepare them for work.
  • Entry 2 Employment or e2e as we call it is supporting the success of young people.
  • If the potential participant lives in the North of England and is finding it difficult to get a job, apprenticeship or college place, we can help.
  • e2e is designed to support achieving success because we know we all need support in order to succeed.
  • e2e gives the time and space needed to find a route to success.
  • e2e can be joined at any time and participants can stay for as many weeks as they choose to make the most of their opportunities.
The young persons' on programme will receive several benefits from choosing to join e2e, these include:
  • Up to £30 per week EMA plus travel expenses, childcare and up to £125 bonuses.
  • Improve confidence with Maths and English.
  • Useful IT skills.
  • Gain a City & Guilds Profile of Achievement Qualification.
  • Friendly, sociable and work-like atmosphere.
  • Personal help & support from fully trained staff.
  • Personal & social awareness building to help you inside and outside of work.
Participants can even work part time along side e2e training and when they feel ready can move on to a job, apprenticeship or college course.

Referral Criteria:
16-18 year old and living in Durham City.
