An opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join our Housing Support Services, which offers a range of projects to support and assist people with housing and accommodation related issues within County Durham.
Working in close partnership with the key agencies across Durham you will support young people to:

PSI Recovery Coordinator

You will be required to provide holistic support to adult service users entering and support them to move through integrated recovery oriented substance misuse services and increase opportunities for service users to achieve sustainable treatment outcomes within Northallerton and surrounding areas. As directed by the Area Manager, the PSI Recovery Coordinator will be an integral member of the dynamic multi agency team developing and delivering comprehensive and tailored individual interventions that will include delivery of a full range of structured, open access one to one and group support.

As a member of DISC’s Management Information Systems (MIS) Team you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, designing and developing centralised management information systems as well as supporting staff in the use of third party systems.
Senior Project Worker

You will provide support and day to day caseload advice and guidance to the SFA staff who deliver housing support to individuals to help them maintain a tenancy and live independently in the community. You will oversee the running of the Drop In service and Temporary Accommodation.
Family Intervention Project
Salary: £18,289 to £19,782
We are looking for a family worker who is able to engage whole families effectively and help them make significant changes in their lives. You will work in partnership with Family Intervention Practitioners to deliver advice guidance and support to families to enable them to effectively parent their children. You will understand the challenges facing families experiencing issues such as mental ill health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, and offending. You will be highly committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
