Our Adult Drug & Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Services in Calderdale are seeking to recruit an experienced Lead practitioner. This critical role will take ownership for managing a team of recovery focussed workers contributing to the overall management and performance of the service yet retaining case level involvement and increasing opportunities for service users to achieve sustainable treatment outcomes.  The post is fixed term for 12 months, with the possibility of a transition to permanent at the end of the 12 month period. A secondment would be considered for internal applicants.

Harm Reduction & Criminal Justice Coordinator

North Yorkshire Horizons

Location: North Yorkshire County Wide

Salary: £20,288 – £25,620

The post holder will be providing the lead on harm reduction work across the county. Developing and delivering an action plan for this work stream, the post holder will ensure that harm reduction is embedded into wider service provision, is delivered effectively and operates within quality frameworks and evidence based practice guidelines. Alongside this, the role is also required to contribute to the successful delivery of criminal justice interventions, via liaison with key internal staff and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and experience of harm reduction, along with an understanding of the wider issues experienced by drug and alcohol users and those within the criminal justice system.
