You're so amazing now you're clean!
The Bunker is a fantastic grass roots venue to experiment with all things musical. Paul himself remembers coming here in 1984 to watch a punk band!
6 people in recovery are currently attending the group, discussing different music types, trying different instruments etc. It’s a great way for people in recovery to socialize, meet new and different people away from their addictions. Jay comments, “Coming to the group has really helped me improve my confidence, before I came to this group I didn’t socialize much outside of prison.”
The group’s facilitated by Bunker tutor Ted, enthusiastic musician, “It’s about giving people the opportunity to try new things; to experience and share a love of music”
“We learn through music to respect each other and to listen to each others opinions” adds Jay.
People taking part are on the right track to their individual recovery and attending this music group will give them support to move on with their lives.
