DISC > Service User Influence

As an organisation working with people who are marginalised and excluded, DISC has a strong commitment to the development and delivery of services driven by the needs and views of those using our services. Combined service user/staff focus groups operate within all DISC services with the remit of improving those services and identifying gaps in our provision. Service users are also involved in the recruitment of staff.

Our service users are also our customers and we take customer satisfaction very seriously. We endeavour to gauge the views of all service users on the quality of the service through the use of a short customer satisfaction survey which is completed using a variety of methods. We also undertake additional customer satisfaction surveys with all service users upon completion of our programmes using telephone interviews.
