PS Plus
Prison Service Plus (PS Plus) is an ESF funded project. It is a partnership (match funded project) between PSPlus and the Probation Service. West Yorkshire Probation being one of the 16 Probation areas involved. DISC is in partnership (subcontracted) with West Yorkshire Probation to deliver the service on their behalf.
The services on offer comprise the skills required to enter into employment, training or education with instruction on:-
- Job search
- Complete a CV
- Communication skills (telephone techniques and letter writing)
- Interview technique
- Finance
- General information
- Advice and guidance sessions
All the clients must be 18+ (male and female) and currently under the supervision of the Probation Service. All referrals are made by Offender Managers within Probation.
