One Voice Network Voluntary Sector Academy (VSA - www.onevoice.co.uk)

VSA provides a range of services around learning and skills to the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in County Durham, including:-
County Durham VCS Working Together Forum
Established in December 2004 the Working Together Forum now has 37 member organisations across the county including VCS employers, learning providers and stakeholders such as the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and Business Link.

Representatives have a shared interest in ensuring that staff, volunteers and trustees working with VCS organisations in County Durham have the skills they need to deliver high quality services.

Working closely with the LSC has given the Working Together Forum recognition as a learning provider and as a source of knowledge and expertise. In early 2006 the Working Together Forum was successful in gaining an ESF Co-financing contract for delivery of training to beneficiary groups in County Durham from July 2006 to June 2008.

County Durham VCS Learning Providers will be offering training and support to people who are looking to join or rejoin the job market.

If your organisation provides learning, or supports learning in the VCS, further details on the Working Together Forum are available by contacting the VSA (details are at the bottom of this page).
